Bill’s Pizzeria 5k

If you’re interesting in running the day after your crazy Halloween Saturday night, sign up for the Bill’s Pizzeria 5k! I know, I know, running hungover and still in your costume might not be your cup of tea, but it should be!

Join me in supporting the Travis Roy Foundation and run the Bill’s 5k!

When: Sunday, October 30, 9 am

Where: Mason Rice Elementary School, Newton Centre

Why: To support the Travis Roy Foundation! And to go on a fun run, in costume. And to have a crazy pizza party at Bill’s Pizzeria after the run.

Be there!

Bill’s Pizzeria 5k

Inspired by my last 3.1 mile adventure, I’m signing up for another 5k – the Bill’s Pizzeria 5k

This 5k on October 30 starts and ends at the Mason Rice Elementary school in Newton Centre. It’s sure to be a ridiculous event. Costumes are encouraged (not sure how well a costume would stand up to my sweaty self at the end of a 5k) and a portion of the proceeds go to benefit the Travis Roy Foundation.

The Travis Roy Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the life of individuals with spinal cord injuries and their families by providing adaptive equipment and to finding a cure through increased funding of research, resulting in self-reliance and the ability to be as independent as possible.

-Travis Roy Foundation Mission Statement

This is definitely a worthwhile cause and one that I will be proud to support.
